Mind, Body & Spirit

Mind

From your first session, you will begin programming your mind to connect with your body.

Over time, you will develop a new awareness of your body structure, your muscles, and how they work together during movement.

Most importantly, you will learn how to apply this awareness away from the studio in your day-to-day life.

Body

Pilates is a full body workout that tones, strengthens and lengthens your muscles without building bulk.

Muscles that have been tight become more flexible, areas that are restricted become mobile and your posture will improve. In short, you will attain a strong, flexible and balanced body.

Spirit

Joseph Pilates named mind, body and spirit as his core tenants.

To achieve a true state of mind- body connection you must be completely present, in the moment, or “mindful” for the Zen amongst us.

As such, Pilates can be a form of meditation, at a time when your body’s energy flow is increasing through proper alignment. It’s powerful. It elevates you.
